Glass House Wedding

Heather and Jack’s late summer wedding plans were impacted by the uncertainty of the pandemic. What was originally planned as a larger wedding at a venue a few towns away ended up as the best plan B imaginable. At the time The Glass House in Zeeland, MI was a new venue offering a romantic and whimsical greenhouse on a beautiful property in West Michigan for small gatherings. It was (and is) a photographer’s dream. I felt especially lucky to get the chance to work in such an inspiring place that perfectly catered to small groups in the middle of the pandemic. In the years since they began hosting events, The Glass House has become a beloved wedding venue by West Michigan couples and vendors. They offer incredible in-house catering via Porchlight Gatherings, and have partnered with one of my favorite florists in the area who offers in-house floral design, Haley of Hyssop Floral. In addition to the Glass House, the property has a small house for getting ready, lots of green space, and a barn for larger scale celebrations. It is a truly a unique and special wedding venue, nestled right in the heart of West Michigan.
