Castle Park Wedding

When Liz & DJ got engaged they knew right away they wanted to have a Castle Park wedding. Liz grew up spending summers at her family’s cottage tucked away in the wooded dunes in Holland, MI. Castle park is a close-knit private lake association comprising of around 90 cottages. It is a special place with a very neighborly and communal energy and lots of built in opportunities to socialize. The grounds include a private beach, an outdoor event area on a bluff referred to as the Dance Dune, a big open field for playing sports, clay tennis courts, a giant moss covered greek amphitheater, and the most unique space of them all: a 19th century Castle. The Castle was built in 1876 as a private home and the became the center of the Castle Park community in 1921.
